“I want to be a Christian . Now what ?” Part 1

Great! That is one of the best questions you could ever ask . A Christian is a follower or a believer in Jesus Christ . It simply means that your life can be changed and transformed into one that is righteous and truly holy .

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To begin your journey it just takes a confession and a belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and that he is risen . That is the assurance that you will be saved . You may be asking yourself how you can believe in something you have not seen or heard. I assure you that there are also many things in the world that people believe even though there is no proof of it . You may have a toothache and you are certain of it but you may not even see it . To believe in Jesus Christ is not necessarily to see him but to believe that he is there and see his manifestation in your life ! All you have to do is to confess and believe ! Your life will be transformed .

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The decision you have made to be a Christian or to be saved means that you are accepting the chance to everlasting life . You no longer walk after the course of this world and perish in a life of sin but you attempt to follow Christ in that sure hope to experience everlasting life after this world has passed away . There are many things that are going to happen after this great milestone in your life . I will explain in the remaining blogs .

Congratulations on accepting Jesus Christ today !

  1. “You may be asking yourself how you can believe in something you have not seen or heard.” How ironic, at a time when people are terrified of an invisible virus, still there are those who refuse to believe in a God they can’t see.
