We are friends of God ! That is mind blowing ! Many times we see and perceive God as our saviour , healer , comforter and many other wonderful things but we do not seem to understand or recognize him as our friend . You may feel like God is so far away but as a friend is so close to you , you can also experience a great friendship with God !
There is a great difference between someone who sees God as a friend and someone who does not think of Him in that way . If you are not a friend of God , nothing that he says or commands will affect your life in any true way . Your friendship with God is tested in your ability to obey him .
“And you are my friends, if you obey my message.”

Friendships are the best relationships to have without too much pressure and pain , after all a friend sticks closer than even a brother . I have many friends and many times I think that my friends are closer than even my siblings . God will be the greatest friend to you if only you would accept him .
“Look! I am standing at the door of your house. I am knocking on your door. When you hear my voice, you should open the door. Then I will come in. We will eat a meal together as friends.”
