The New Man (As God’s Beloved)-11

The LORD appeared to me ( Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.”

Jeremiah 31:3 AMP

The love of humans tends to be fleeting many times . Today you may love a hot cup of coffee and it seems you can not make it out of bed if you do not get it . Other times , you may love a certain brand of clothing but a few months later , you have hopped on to the next fashion wave. There may be instances where you promise your significant other that you would be with him or her through thick and think but at the next rough patch in your relationship, your love and loyalty is questioned .

God , on the other hand , never ceases to love his people and all that he has ever done for us is deeply rooted in love . This is the type of love that initiates relationships . The love that God has for us is steadfast and everlasting meaning there is no end . His love for us supersedes our idea of love and even how much we can love him . The fact that God extends mercy towards us proves his steadfast love and covenant loyalty and is the primary benefits of faith in Him .
