1 Samuel 9:9 EASY
Saul was with his servant in an attempt to find lost asses . After three futile days, the servant realized that they are near a home of a great light , the Prophet or seer Samuel . Unknown to them , Samuel was expecting their arrival even after three days of aimless and hopeless wandering . God had already known that Saul would be chosen to be King over Israel but it hinged heavily on whether or not Saul would have that prophetic encounter with Samuel . A whole nation depended on this encounter !
“The people who walk in the dark will see a great light. The light will shine on those people who live on land full of dark shadows.”
Isaiah 9:2 EASY
The coming of Jesus Christ in itself is a prophecy . Isaiah spoke about the great light that would shine on a land filled with darkness . Darkness represents sin , confusion and where there is even the absence of hope . Isaiah foretells that the coming of Jesus Christ would be our hope and light . He would clear up all misconceptions of sin and give us a clear cut purpose for our lives . Our aimless and hopeless lives would be set right just by a prophetic encounter !
