It always amazes me when I think of something that was once dead coming to life . My mother oftentimes told me the miraculous story of my birth and how she exercised faith despite my poor initial prognosis. The doctors advised that she abort me as she had a severe case of a condition called oligohydramnios . This is where the amniotic fluid that surrounds the growing fetus with nutrients is low or non- existent . They gave her a date to perform the operation as they said they had never seen a case like mine live. They declared that I was dry bones .
“And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.’ Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, ‘Behold, I will make breath enter you so that you may come to life.”
Ezekiel 37:3-5 AMP
Dry bones respond to the word of the Lord . Dry bones respond to the breath of God . My mother through faith , went back to work after being advised to rest . She declared the word of the Lord, she prayed and 23 years later , I am here .
The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy in your life . Jesus Christ is the word of God made flesh . You may feel like you are spiritually dead or dying but God tells us we have been quickened with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses and sins !
“even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment).”
Ephesians 2:5 AMP
