Day 33 – My Jesus Journal – The Answer Of Faith

Have you ever been in a dilemma where you feel like even a prophetic word or promise becomes difficult to believe ? Your faith is diminished and you begin to question the logics of the situation? I have been at a point in my life where I awaited important decisions regarding where I would study and what exactly I would study . The situation looked hopeless if you asked me . It took real faith in God to begin applications for my desired career path . Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen . If someone asked me for the tangible prerequisites for my career path , I would have nothing to show . My faith was my evidence.

“Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!”

Habakkuk ends his prophecy with faith and hope . Despite all that was happening , there is a message of hope . He is reminded of what God has done for the people of Israel in the past and by his faith he would rejoice in the God of His salvation .

Faith is to trust in the promises of God even though they may appear to be absent or delayed . Your faith is your evidence of the promise . The promise may not be seen immediately but your faith can be seen in what you do while you wait .

“Listen carefully: you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great and eminent and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;”

Mary received a promise and we were also promised that Jesus Christ would come through her to us and for us . Mary was told something to do . She would first give birth and she would name Him Jesus . Many people do not receive the promise of Jesus Christ not because he has not come but because they do not believe and take a step in faith . Your faith in Jesus is your evidence and your answer for life . By faith in Jesus Christ , you can receive your salvation from every sin and entanglement . Jesus is the answer !
