“She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The LORD is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21 AMP
It is very difficult to read this scripture and not think “ Jesus for Melissa” or “Jesus for you” . From the initial mention of the name Jesus in passage, we get a sense of adoption through Jesus Christ . Jesus Christ did not just come to save ‘people’ from their sins but He came to save ‘His people’ from their sins . From the genesis of the gospel we understand that we belong to Jesus and that He came for us .
“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.”
John 15:16 AMP
We absolutely cannot deny the existence of Jesus Christ in our lives . As a matter of fact , he chose me even before I knew myself or even before my parents knew themselves . We were already His and He has something specific for us to do . The onus is on us to accept that Jesus Christ came to save us from who we are by default : sinners . The greatest conception led to the greatest birth !
Be blessed !
