“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.”

Have you ever been in love with someone and you want to do what they like so that you can maintain a happy relationship ? You buy gifts , send messages and do just about anything to make sure that they know that you are right there with them. Oftentimes we seek too much validation in our relationships and sometimes our significant other is never truly satisfied with what we have to give.
In Matthew 5:6 , Jesus taught that we are blessed when we are hungry to be right in the eyes of God . There is satisfaction for us when we are right where God wants you to be . There is satisfaction because we are brought close to God when we seek to be righteous and where the presence of God is , we are truly satisfied.
“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8 NIV
“For He satisfies the parched throat, And fills the hungry appetite with what is good.”
Psalms 107:9 AMP
Are you hungry and want to be satisfied ? Then hunger and thirst for righteousness, you will be filled !
