Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Matthew 5:23-24 KJV
Have you ever sacrificed something expensive for God or done something great for God but knew there were some people in your life that you needed to resolve some issues with ?
God seems more interested in your reconciliation with those people than with your outward show of sacrifice and gift-giving . God is more concerned with the affairs of your heart more than what you can ever show Him. The truth is that if you know that someone has a problem with you and you leave the issue unresolved without even giving thought to making things right , you have missed the point of Christianity .
God ‘loved’ us before he ‘gave’ us His son . Love precedes any great action. God wants us to love as He loved first then any great action of sacrifice can follow .
Be blessed !

SO good to see you post again little sister 🙂
Yes God cares much more about our hearts and souls and our motives than our outward service. I often think about how in 1 Corinthians 13 when Paul writes about various gifts he concludes with- the greatest of these is love.
