Day 60- My Jesus Journal- Where have you built your house ?

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:24-27‬ ‭KJV

Everyone has something that they believe in . Everyone has something that keeps them going . What you have chosen to believe in , will change your life in one way or another . Your belief in something is displayed in what you do , how you conduct yourself and the decisions you make .

Jesus stated that whoever chooses to hear His words , and does something about them are like a wise man who has built his house on a rock . A rock is secure , grounded and stands any meteorological changes . Jesus Christ has been, is now and will continue to be even in the midst of changing culture and world systems . Jesus wants us to believe and trust his words wholeheartedly.

Those however , who hear the word and choose not to put them into practice are likened to those who build their houses on sand . The changes in weather would surely affect you . After all , everything in this world is susceptible to change and cannot be trusted.

Choose to hear and do the words of Jesus today!

Be blessed !
