But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.”

I always feared long- standing problems with no solutions . It is usually easier to believe that a situation is the way it is because that is how it should be . Humans tend to come to conclusions based on the facts and trends over time. Logics have replaced faith in many aspects of our lives. Imagine having a problem for twelve whole years with no solution. Imagine how mentally draining it must be to wake up to the same issue each day , not knowing if you should believe it would all be well or if you will have another twelve years with the same issue .
The magnitude and longevity of this woman’s problem did not deter her faith . You would think that after twelve years, she would have given up on ever finding a way out . It is likely that she was even weak and tired , and so touching the hem of Jesus’ garment was her last and greatest effort towards her healing . Despite all that was happening , she still believed that Jesus could heal her . It did not seem logical for a woman with an issue of blood for so many years to miraculously experience healing by her faith . It seemed more logical to say that she passed away after years of bleeding. Nevertheless, the woman’s faith was one one that surpassed human logic .
That is the faith that we need to experience the depths of a life with Jesus Christ . It is true that our problems existed for much longer than we can remember but if we could just touch the hem of our healer’s garment , we certainly will be made whole! Your healing is imminent but have you but touched the hem of His garment ?

A Minute with Melissa 
I’ve never thought about it like this before, Melissa, but you are right. The poor woman in this story could have more easily given up and resigned herself to just keep bleeding. But she did not! Despite spending all she had seeking a cure, she still had the mojo (faith) to seek an encounter with Jesus. Just one touch of His garment is all we need. One supernatural meeting with the God of the universe can heal ANYTHING! Blessings.
